Biography
A development driver under the management of Middle Eastern motor racing group GMH Motorsport, Daniel Morad arrives in the GP3 Series with a stellar junior career behind him in North America.
In a glittering karting career between 2001-2006, Daniel captured no less than 11 championships titles, including being twice crowned the Sunoco Ron Fellows Karting Champion. In 2006 he moved into car racing in Formula BMW USA and won the rookie title, and then won the overall championship in 2007 with the Eurointernational team.
In 2008 he competed in the Formula Atlantic, before his Lebanese heritage led |GMH to choose him to drive its A1 Team Lebanon car for its full 2008-09 A1GP World Cup of Motorsport campaign. His talent shone through in the 600hp cars and he scored a historic Top 6 finish in Kyalami, South Africa, the Lebanon team's best-ever result.
For 2010, his first full season of racing in Europe, GMH has placed the 20-year-old with Status Grand Prix in the GP3 Series, the high-profile F1 support series which features at eight Formula One Grand Prix events.
